We designed this project for Kirchhoff Campus Properties as a 12,000 square foot, one-story building with tenant spaces for a college bookstore and café, a shared dining area, toilet rooms, and utility spaces.

The design takes cues from the scale, materials, and forms of the adjacent student housing, while also creating an identity of its own through the use of deep bracketed overhangs, a generous use of glazing, and columns, pilasters, and prominent roof elements that articulate the primary facades and corners of the building.
